Remote learning for 10.01.25
Good morning Year 6,
Last day of remote learning. I cannot wait to see you all properly on Monday morning where we can really get back into the swing of things. Please find below all the learning for today.
9:00 - 9:45am Live lesson. We thought we would mix it up a bit a today so we are going ahead with a Geography lesson. Our new Geography unit this term is 'Where in the world is our water' before we start looking at Water all around the world we have to understand why it is so important so in Year 6 we always revisit the Water Cycle to get us started. For this lesson you will need a piece of A4 paper, pen, pencils and if you have them some colouring pencils or felt tips.
I have also attached an example of a water cycle poster to help you at home, that can be downloaded on to your screens - this does not include definitions of the stages you will need to add these yourself based on today's learning.

English - We have received some finished biographies already which has been amazing to see and on some very interesting people. So far we have had Adam Kay (Doctor and Author), Henry VIII (King and Killer of Wives) and James Hype (DJ) If you have not yet finished your biography you are to continue with this. Please send us in any finished products and bring them into school with you on Monday.

Remember the features of a biography:
Written in Chronological Order (from start to finish)
Subheadings
Formal language
Dashes (-) to add extra information
Fronted Adverbials to show when or where something happened.
Parenthesis using brackets ()
